About us
At Dermaska, every story is unique. Founded by two passionate women, our clinic offers much more than skin care: it provides caring, compassionate support to help people reclaim their bodies and regain their confidence after life's challenges.
A space devoted to care, respect and transformation
Dermaska, founded by Karina Osorio and Serena Beauchemin, is a clinic specializing in paramedical dermopigmentation, offering professional and personalized care for women and men, including those affected by cancer. Aimed at helping our clients regain their physical and psychological well-being after surgery or illness.
Our restorative micropigmentation services include optical illusion areola and nipple reconstruction, a delicate and precise procedure that complements breast reconstruction. Each treatment is designed to meet the unique needs of each client, with a caring, empathetic, and respectful approach. Working with medical specialists, we ensure each procedure has positive effects on our clients' emotional and physical health.
We firmly believe that healing is not only about the body, but also about restoring self-confidence. That's why we are committed to providing a welcoming and safe environment, where our clients feel supported and listened to throughout their journey.
At Dermaska,“Your well-being and your confidence, at the heart of our care.” We make it a point of honor to support each individual in a humane and caring manner, respecting their needs and their life path.

Expert opinion!
Breast cancer can affect how women perceive themselves, as the breast is seen as an important aspect of identity, femininity, and eroticism in our society. Survivors may feel diminished in their femininity, as their breasts no longer correspond to North American beauty ideals.
These women may therefore feel less sexually desirable, may have a more negative body image and lower self-esteem, and they may experience psychological distress. Some women may have difficulty accepting their nudity, fearing negative reactions from their partners regarding their bodies, which can lead them to decrease or even avoid sexual activity.
During treatment, healthcare professionals and patients themselves may put sex life aside, as the focus is on survival, but this does not mean that this aspect of life is not affected. Changes in survivors' sex lives, such as a low negative self-image related to lower sexual functioning, can last for several years after treatment.
Nipple and areola reconstruction is often seen by survivors as the final step in breast reconstruction, allowing them to regain a natural and symmetrical appearance of the breasts, as well as increasing their psychological and emotional satisfaction.
The tattoo technique has been shown to provide highly satisfactory results for breast cancer survivors, and allows women to avoid further surgery. It is also a simple and quick procedure that can reduce the total reconstruction period, thus increasing satisfaction and decreasing impatience among survivors.
